I’ve just finished an article on Theophilis Odell George.“Gorgeous George” toured with Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson, and all the names from R&B in the 60’s and 70’s Chitlin’ Circuit. He mentored a young Jimi Hendrix, traveled with Marvin Gaye for the last fourteen years of Marvin’s tragic life, and partied with Fidel Castro.  Not a bad resume.  It is the best article  I’ve ever written.
