Princess Ava escapes the Witnesses, the Georgia heat, and The Reaper

She would have been killed, if I hadn’t called on the morning she was scheduled.DSC00211

Flew to Atlanta on 7/15, where there was a huge convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Worked at shelter the next morning, until I collapsed in tears at the anguish of all the dogs.

So then I left, and made copies of the photos George said could be used to raise money for the shelter. One of a kind photos of him with Hank Ballard and the Midnighters, Sam Cook, Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers, and Stevie Wonder.

Picked up PA  at noon, drove straight through to Fredericksburg, where I met with Antwaun Gay.

Arrived home at BTV to drop off one way rental at 11PM on 7/18.

She’s a great dog.

In fact, she’s a miracle.
